Sharing images from The Substance, her upcoming satirical horror, Moore offered fans a startlingly lifelike portrayal of her character, Elisabeth Sparkle, who takes a black-market drug that results in her aggressive aging.
The star of Ghost shared a carousel of images on Instagram where she’s seen in various stages of fierce aging, one – as a fan says – with “saggy teetas,” and the last with a gory blood-soaked head.
She captions the post, “Spoiler alert. Been holding onto these gems from [The Substance] and today feels like an appropriate day to share them. Happy Halloween from Elisabeth Sparkle.”
Moore’s transformation brought her legions of fans to social media platforms, where comments ranged from awe at her bravery to admiration for her creativity and homage to cinematic horror.
