Villa Vie Residences cruise ship has launched a 4-year long trip around 140 different countries in an attempt to ‘escape’ US politics.

For many US residents, this probably sounds appealing.

The residential cruise line has taken a vacation tour to another level.

On 7 November, the company announced a new holiday package that allows its customers to ‘escape’ for four years, if they so choose and visit 140 other countries around the world that have nothing to do with Donald Trump or American politics.

Titled the ‘Skip Forward’ package, your ticket buys you 4 whole years of travelling around all seven continents.

They also offer a ‘Mid-Term Selection’ package, which runs for 2 years and runs at the same time as the mid-term general election.

The vessel is packed with everything you could ever want or need in those four years, including food, spa and fitness facilities.

Friends and family of customers are even entitles to visit you on the ship – all for the price of $129 per day.

The ship travels all over the globe, to exotic locations such as Buenos Aires, Japan and Sydney, Bali, the Philippines, Singapore and Mumbai and many more.

A single-person room for 4 years starts at $255,999 while a double-room costs $319,998.

If you wanted to run away from political issues for only 2 years instead of 4, the ticket for a single-room would set you back $150,399 while a double would be $187,998.

One-year tickets are also available, if you wanted a “short” break. Starting at $79,999 while three-year stays start from $207,999.

The company claims the ship allows its clients ‘flexibility to escape traffic jams, politics, and the monotony of city life’.
