Bruce Willis has been seen for the first time in months in an emotional Thanksgiving photo with his family.
The 69-year-old has been battling frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and has stayed out of the spotlight since he retired from acting.

However, in an emotional post shared by his daughter, Tallulah, on Thanksgiving – the actor can be seen surrounded by his family and looking happy.

Willis shares his daughters, Tallulah, 30 and Scout, 33 with his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
The iconic actor retired shortly after it was announced by his family that he had FTD, in February 2023.

His wife, Emma Hemming whom he has two daughters with – Mabel, 12 and Evelyn, 10, opened up about his diagnosis last month.

In an interview with Town & Country Magazine, Hemming said: ‘This disease is misdiagnosed, it’s missed, it’s misunderstood.’
‘So finally getting to a diagnosis was key so that I could learn what frontotemporal dementia is and I could educate our children.’
Emma added, ‘I’ve never tried to sugarcoat anything for them. They’ve grown up with Bruce declining over the years. I’m not trying to shield them from it.’
‘What I learned from our therapist was that if children ask questions, they’re ready to know the answer. If we could see that Bruce was struggling, I would address it with the kids so they could understand, but this disease is chronic, progressive and terminal.’
She added that the young children didn’t really ‘speak about the terminal side of this with them, nor have they asked.’
However, she explained that they ‘know that Daddy’s not going to get better.’
She added that she wouldn’t let ‘FTD to take our whole family down. Bruce wouldn’t want that,’.
